RankerPH ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a data subject.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account data — email address and display name when you register.
  • Payment data — GCash reference numbers and your name for manual payment verification. We do not store card numbers or full financial details.
  • Usage data — quiz scores, practice history, and battle results stored in our database to power leaderboards and your profile.
  • Device data — streak, theme preference, and session history stored locally in your browser (localStorage). This never leaves your device.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To verify premium plan payments and grant access.
  • To display leaderboard rankings and your personal statistics.
  • To send you important account-related communications.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your account and score data is stored on Supabase (a cloud database provider). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment reference numbers are stored only long enough to verify your transaction.

5. Your Rights

Under RA 10173, you have the right to:
  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.

6. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your preferences, streak, and session history. No tracking pixels or third-party advertising trackers are used on this platform.

7. Children's Privacy

RankerPH is intended for users 16 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we become aware that a user under 13 has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
